I am originally from Taguig City, Philippines where I attended high school at Sen. Renato Compañero Cayetano Memorial Science and Technology High School (SRCCMSTHS). Back in high school, I joined an astronomy quiz bee, and I and my group won 3rd place. My days of reviewing for the contest piqued my interest in astronomy. That's when I decided to pursue astronomy. I took my Bachelor of Science in Physics with specialization in Materials Science at De La Salle University (DLSU), Manila City, Philippines. After finishing my undergraduate program, I directly moved to Taiwan to take my masters in Astronomy at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Hsinchu City. Currently, I am a PhD candidate at Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics (MPE), Garching, Germany.

My mission is to contribute to the Philippine scientific community with my passion for astronomy and science and to promote education for the betterment of my country.

Apart from research, I enjoy cooking, eating good food, watching anime, playing games, volunteering on church activities, and visiting new places. During my free time, I would go out with my friends for some catching up or spend the rest of the day binging on online gaming and anime marathons.
